Instructions for Requesting Access to Discoverer

In order to obtain access to Discoverer, a Banner Administrative Systems Accout Request Form must be completed and submitted to:

LOCATING THE FORM
The Banner Administrative Systems Account Request form can be located by logging in to Patriot Web Self Service at https://patriotweb.gmu.edu. Once Logged on:

• Click Employee Services
• Click Request Access to Banner Products
• Click Banner Administrative Systems Account Request Form

FILLING OUT THE FORM
To expedite the process, please include the following on the second page of the form.

• Under "Discoverer/Data Mart Access"
• Identify data marts needed for access (Finance, Human Resources, Admissions, etc.)
• Under "Notes"
• If possible, specify to mimic an existing user id for similar access (Ex: Please mimic access similar to jdoe).
• If the individual is PI (principal investigator, please denote in the notes section.
